February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month: Get Involved
Join the Marjaree Mason Center in recognizing Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (TDVAM) this February with a number of events and social media campaigns you can support to get involved and encourage healthy relationships for the teens in your life and local youth. Teen Dating Violence In Our Community
Our community recently saw the third domestic violence homicide of a teenager in the last 14 months. This cannot continue. The Marjaree Mason Center urges the community to take action against teen dating violence by having conversations with the young people in their lives and equipping themselves on how to recognize red flags or warning signs.
The Need Is Critical. The Time Is Now. Courage Takes Root
A project that began inception in 2018, the Marjaree Mason Center announced a capital campaign, Courage Takes Root, in conjunction with a two-week Community Challenge November 1-15, 2023, aimed at building a new Community Resource Center that meets the ongoing, critical need for services and the vision of a domestic violence-free community.
