Girl Scouts Troop 2300 Donates Over $1,300 of Baby Supplies to MMC!
We are extremely grateful for the Central California South Girl Scout Troop 2300 for donating over $1,300 of baby supplies including diapers, wipes and formula for the babies that stay in our safe houses. Troop Mom and ABC30 Anchor, Margot Kim dropped off the donations while the girls were at school.
The average woman that Marjaree Mason Center serves has two children under the age of 5 years old, so there are always many babies that stay with us. Quite often, Moms flee their homes without taking anything with them, including baby supplies, so it's a great help to have items such as these donated. We're so appreciative for this donation and pleased that young girls have such organizations such as Girl Scouts to learn about how to give back to others and improve the community.
